This year we have separated the program in two parts:

STUDENT TRAINING PROGRAMS: (INTERNSHIPS) (for students 18-27 years old) from:

• Tourism AND Hospitality Universities, Colleges or Technical schools
• Economics and Language Universities
• Sports Universities and Colleges
  

The Students can do their vocational practice in one of our Hotels in GREECE and CYPRUS this year. In this program we can accept students from all the EU countries, Romania, Macedonia and Bulgaria

CONDITIONS:

• good knowledge of English language is a MUST!
• IN CASE OF NON GREEK CITIZENS-it would be a big advantage to have the basic knowledge of the Greek language.
• other languages like German, Scandinavian languages, French, Italian or Russian is a plus.
• experience and good previous references in hotel/restaurant work
• childcare experience when applying for childcare position!

ALL THE APPLICANTS SHOULD POSSES THEIR MEDICAL HEALTH INSURANCE FORM UPON THEIR ARRIVAL TO GREECE FROM THEIR COUNTRIES AND SHOULD HAND IT TO THE HOTEL MANAGERS OF THE EMPLOYER HOTELS.

Every applicant must submit 2 job references from previous employers or at least mention full details and phone numbers of previous employment location.
One passport sized and another whole body photos attached to your application form are necessary.

MEDICAL AND CRIMINAL CHECKS ARE A MUST AS WELL
(These will be asked from you when you are going to arrive to Greece)

Additionally, you can send any other relevant documents that might be useful for your application form (such as Language course certificates, Computer courses, Special qualifications etc.)

As soon as we receive your completed application form, we will forward it to all our potential employers and inform you regularly about the successes and results of your application.

Please note that your application forms and data sent to us, will be in full possession of "IN GLOBE" and the agency will have the full right of revealing, studying and using your data for employer references and consideration, as well as phone interviews with the employers.

In case of acceptance of any of our applicants to work, we will immediately carry the responsibility of informing the applicants on their placements and sending all the necessary details on the placement conditions and terms(salary, working hours, accommodation type and etc)

LOCATION OF THE POSITIONS:

This season we have signed contracts with several 4 and 5 Stars hotels and Water Parks in the islands of CRETE, KOS, CORFU, ZAKYNTHOS, NAXOS, CRETE, as well as CHALKIDIKI and Peloponnesus.
We also have job offers in smaller hotels at ALL the Greek islands and CYPRUS.

LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM:

The average approximated duration for hotel industry employment positions (contracts) is for minimum 3 and maximum 9 months (depending on the season duration, weather changes , the hotel schedule and other likewise) and a year and more for housemaid and childcare employment contracts

Hotel job placements start from April and last usually until the late October and in exceptional cases mid November.

The Au Pair /Nanny jobs are RUNNING ALL YEAR ROUND!

SALARIES:

The guarantied minimum salary is:
350-400 EURO per month for the student training program
There are very good TIPS in every exclusive HOTEL JOB!

Please note that Accommodation and Food are ALWAYS FREE!

WORKING HOURS AND DAYS OFF:

The average working hours during the high season, (June-September) are 8-10 h per day (also depending on the job)
However in most cases in accordance with the signed Employement contract the 8 hour work pre day and one day off are the necessary conditions.
For the placements such as Au pairs/Babysitters there is also a day off per week (usually Sunday)

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION:

Every employer provides the food and accommodation for FREE!
Most of the Hotels give 2-3 meals per day and shared accommodation for 2-4 people in one room.

The above mentioned details and much more thorough information will be provided to all our applicants before their arrival.

TRAVEL EXPENSES:

ONLY FOR STUDENT TRAINING PROGRAM THE AIR TICKETS ARE TOTALLY FREE (TWO WAY TICKETS ARE COVERED BY THE EMPLOYERS FOR THE STUDENT TRAINING PROGRAM)

The hotel would be responsible for covering the travel expenses for each student in front prior to arrival of the students. The amount for the ticket money will be deducted from their first salary and given back to the students at the end of their training and contract as a bonus.

If a student does not complete the training period and schedule mentioned and agreed upon in the signed contract and decides to leave before the date stated within it, the hotel will be forced to keep the applicants' ticket expenses from their first salary.

INSURANCE:

Every applicant is OBLIGATED TO ARRANGE HIS/HER OWN INSURANCE IN HIS/HER HOME COUNTRY!

The employers are only obligated to pay health insurance in case of any accidents or unexpected health damages that might take place at the place of employment.

There is also the employee health insurance tax paid by the Greek employers for all the applicants to the Greek state throughout their stay duration.

VISAS AND WORKING LICENSE:

The EU clients do not require any kind of visas for working in Greece.

For getting your working visa in the easiest ways possible and helps in negotiation processes with local Greek embassies.

IN GLOBE AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In Globe will be responsible for presenting the Terms and Conditions of the placement offers to the applicants in details;

In Globe will mediate between the employers and the employees if any problem occurs;

In Globe will be responsible for finding another job for its applicants in case of dissatisfaction (if the job transpires to be unsuitable and the conditions unacceptable) based on respectable reasons on the side of the applicants within 10 days duration.
