WORK & TRAVEL IN GREECE 2007
This year we have separated the program in two parts:
1. STUDENT TRAINING PROGRAM (for students 18-27
years old) from Tourism School or Colleges or Economics schools
or Sport colleges who can do their vocational practice (internship)
in one of our Hotels in GREECE and CYPRUS this year!
In this program we can accept students from all the EU countries,
Romania, Bulgaria and other non EU countries.
2. REGULAR PLACEMENT PROGRAM for young people from
17-40 years old, who are not students but want to apply for a job
in Greece during the summer. We can accept only EU citizens, Romania,
Bulgaria and different non EU countries.
CONDITIONS:
- good knowledge of English language is a MUST
- IF NOT GREEK CITIZENS THEY MUST SPEAK basic knowledge of the
Greek language is a plus but not necessary
- other languages like German, Scandinavian languages, French,
Italian or Russian is an advantage
- experience and good references in hotel/restaurant work
- childcare experience (if applying for childcare position).

We are going to forward you an application form and details about
the program.
We need the application form with the photos sent to us via E-MAIL.
The Medical Certificate you have to have it with you upon your
arrival in Greece and hand it over to the HR manager in the Hotel
or Company.

Every applicant must submit at least 2 job references from previous
employers or at least mention full details and phone numbers of
them in the application form, one passport photo and one whole body
photo.
MEDICAL AND CRIMINAL CHECK ARE A MUST AS WELL
( These will be asked from you when you are going to arrive in Greece
)
Additionally, you can send any other relevant document useful for
your application form such as (Language course certificate, Computer
courses, Special qualifications etc.)
As soon as we receive your completed application form, we will
forward it to potential employers and inform you regularly about
the success of your application.
Please note that by sending us your application form, you give
right to IN GLOBE agency to reveal and use all the information stated
there to potential employers and they can use your contact numbers
to make a phone interview.
As soon as our employers confirm us your acceptance to any of the
job offers, we will send you the contract stating the terms and
conditions, details about the placement, salary, days off etc.

THIS YEAR !
LOCATION OF THE POSITIONS:
This season we have signed contracts with several 4 and 5 Stars
hotels and Water Parks in the islands of CRETE, KOS, CORFU,
ZAKYNTHOS, NAXOS, CRETE, as well as Chalkidiki
and Peloponnesus.
We also have job offers in smaller hotels at ALL the Greek
islands and CYPRUS this year.
LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM:
Usually the employers are making the job contracts from minimum
3 months to maximum 9 months time for hotel industry positions and
1 to 2 years time for childcare or housemaid positions.
The jobs for the HOTELS are starting from APRIL and finishing late
OCTOBER.
The Au Pair /Nanny jobs are ALL YEAR ROUND!
SALARIES:
The guarantied minimum salary is:
300-400 EURO per month for the student training program and from
500-1500 EURO for the Regular placement program depends on qualifications,
references, work experience, position etc.
There are very good TIPS in every HOTEL JOB!
Please note that the Food and the Accommodation are ALWAYS FREE!
WORKING HOURS AND DAYS OFF:
The average working hours during the high season ( June-September)
are 8-10 h per day and depends on the job position. But usually
there is the 8 h per day and one day off per WEEK.
THERE IS USUALLY NO DAY OFF DURING THE HIGH SEASON except for the
Student Training program where this is arranged in advance!
For the placements as Au pairs/Babysitters there is one day off
per week, usually Sunday.
FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION:
Every employer provides the food and accommodation for FREE!
Most of the Hotels give 2-3 meals per day and shared accommodation
2-4 people in one room. These information will be well known to
every applicant before they accept the placement.
TRAVEL EXPENSES:
ONLY FOR STUDENT TRAINING PROGRAM THE AIR TICKETS ARE TOTALLY
FREE AND TO COME IN GREECE AND TO GO BACK TO THERE HOME COUNTRY
The applicants are responsible for the travel expenses from their
Home country to Greece and back.
If however the employer covers some or all the cost of the travel
expenses, this amount will be deducted from the first salary of
the applicant. On their own free will, the employers could participate
in the return ticket.
INSURANCE:
Every applicant is OBLIGATED TO ARRANGE HIS/HER OWN INSURANCE
IN THE HOME COUNTRY! The employers will be obligated to
pay for the health insurance in case any accident happens on the
working place.
VISAS AND WORKING LICENSE:
The EU clients do not require any visas to work in Greece.
All the other clients from Non EU countries or out of Europe need
to obtain a Working visa or Internship
visa.

get to your working visa the easiest way possible.
IN GLOBE AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In Globe will be responsible for presenting the Terms and Conditions
of the placement offers to the applicants in details
- In Globe will mediate between the employers and the employees
if any problem occurs
- In Globe will be responsible to find another job to the applicant
within 10 days of time, if the job transpires to be unsuitable
and the conditions unacceptable
- Every applicant will have 24 h support and open line to contact
an agent from In Globe any time while their stay in Greece
